Support Team CSF at the Army Ten-Miler!

At CSF, our mission goes beyond the finish line.

Sunday, October 13, 2024, our dedicated team of runners will be representing the Chike Springer Foundation at the Army Ten-Miler in Washington, DC. They’re not just running a race—they’re running to bring hope to those battling lymphoma.

The Impact

Improving treatment outcomes for lymphoma patients requires a unified approach.

By collaborating with healthcare institutions, research organizations, Veteran-focused groups, and corporate partners, we’re able to close gaps in fragmented research models and drive progress. Together, we’re funding innovative cancer research that directly enhances outcomes and quality of life for patients and their families.

DID YOU KNOW…?

Active Duty Military and Veterans face significantly higher cancer rates compared to the general population.

This is due to unique environmental exposures and lifestyle factors that impact their health. The Chike Springer Foundation is actively addressing this issue by partnering with the Lymphoma Research Foundation to co-sponsor innovative initiatives at VA hospitals and Military Treatment Facilities. Our partnership with the Lymphoma Research Foundation allows us to fund critical cancer research to understand how lymphoma in the Military and Veteran populations compares to the general population.

Why Support Team CSF?

CSF's commitment doesn't end at the finish line. We're on a mission to support Active Military and Veteran research, ensuring our heroes receive the care and resources they deserve. Your generous gift directly fuels these efforts and brings us one step closer to our shared goal of improving the lives of those who have served our country.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings hope closer to reality.

The CSF Difference: A Veteran-Founded Nonprofit Dedicated to Honoring Chike's Legacy

At CSF, our dedication to the cause is deeply rooted in the values upheld by our foundation’s namesake, Chike Springer. A proud Veteran, Chike believed in making a difference and inspired others to do the same. During his treatment for lymphoma, he was adamant about giving back and contributing to the cure. He frequently talked about starting a non-profit to help others fighting similar battles. Chike's unwavering belief in the power of unity and determination continues to inspire us every day, and his passion for service drives our mission.

As the Founder and President of CSF, and a proud Veteran myself, I invite you to join our team at the Army 10-Miler and support vital research for Active Military and Veterans!
— Lyndsay Springer, Founder and Director

Together, we can continue Chike's legacy of service and make a lasting impact on the lives of our service members. The Army Ten-Miler isn't just any race; it's a celebration of the spirit and resilience of our Armed Forces. Since its inception in 1985, this iconic event has embodied the values of loyalty, duty, respect, personal courage, honor, integrity, and selfless service — the same values our beloved namesake, Chike Springer, held dear.
