Photo Challenge Fundraiser

This June we hosted a Photo Challenge Fundraiser to raise money to fund lymphoma research and increase public awareness about lymphoma, the most common type of blood cancer. We asked participants to take pictures with their Chike Springer Foundation hats and flags to complete photo challenges and earn points. Our event sponsors generously donated $1 for every point earned during the challenge. We're proud to announce that we raised $7,625 during the Photo Challenge!

We appreciate everyone who participated in the challenge and donated. Your participation in the challenge helped us expand our reputation and your contributions fund lymphoma research for under-researched populations.

We partner with the Lymphoma Research Foundation to fund the Chike Springer Legacy Scholar, Dr. Luis Malpica Castillo. Dr. Malpica’s research will be the first to focus primarily on prevalent subtypes of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in Latin America and outcome disparities for people of color. His research will address questions of disparity in therapy responses and outcomes by evaluating the clinical, epidemiological, host genetics, and treatment factors that may influence patient outcomes. Results from this study will provide a wealth of information on outcomes and survivorship and serve as a framework for evidence-based clinical trial design.

Help us fund more research like Dr. Malpica's by making a donation.
